On February 10— which coincided with Xiao Nian(also called the“Little Chinese New Year”)— the 2026 Spring Festival cultural, tourism, and commercial activities in Longxi County, themed“Light Up Longxi Hall, Usher in a New Journey for the Traditional Chinese Medicine Capital,” were officially launched.

This event will last until the 15th day of the first lunar month and feature five major sections.

The core areas—such as Li Family Dragon Palace and North Street—are brightly lit. Intangible cultural heritage lantern displays and folk custom performances will be held in succession. The Ice and Snow Carnival and the New Year Goods Fair will be launched simultaneously. Additionally, consumer vouchers worth 100,000 yuan will be distributed to stimulate market vitality.

In recent years, Longxi has deeply explored Li Clan culture. Using lanterns as a medium and leveraging culture to boost commerce, it has integrated its millennium-old cultural heritage with the vibrancy of daily life. This not only demonstrates cultural confidence but also injects momentum into the high-quality development of the cultural and tourism industries.
